Las Vegas – Connect IT – May 7, 2019 – itopia, creators of Cloud Automation Stack, a proprietary, end-to-end automation and orchestration SaaS solution for enterprises and IT service providers, today announced the company’s upcoming participation in the first ever Mission Possible contest at the Kaseya Connect IT conference.
Enterprise sysadmins and MSPs face new challenges everyday as they are compelled by the market to migrate critical workloads to the hyperscale cloud. It’s imperative that IT vendors keep those companies informed on how easy and simple it’s becoming to do so. In this spirit, itopia has aligned itself with Kaseya’s Mission Possible event during the Connect IT conference to be held in Las Vegas from May 6-9. The goal is to show IT admins and MSPs firsthand how itopia Cloud Automation Stack (CAS) helps organizations migrate and manage IT workloads to Google Cloud by automating the manual work typically required for legacy solutions.
Kaseya has created a cloud IT competition with a $5,000 prize. 60 teams of five engineers each will be granted access to Kaseya’s full IT management suite, and itopia’s comprehensive cloud migration + management SaaS solution to build a production-grade IT environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) within 36 hours. Each team will be given access to the same tools, and the environment will be migrated by leveraging itopia CAS to spin up the configuration and provisioning of the target company’s core IT infrastructure – including AD, File Servers, Gateways, Brokers, RD Session Hosts and Virtual Desktops.
“Having 300 motivated enterprise engineers explore our software and Google Compute Engine is an excellent opportunity for both itopia and Google Cloud” says Jonathan Lieberman, CEO and Co-Founder, itopia. “We’re also extremely excited about the opportunity to partner with Kaseya on this endeavor – one of the leading and most innovative technology companies in the IT software industry.”
“Every day IT admins are faced with overcoming impossible missions, and just once we wanted to give them the opportunity to show off their skills to get the recognition they so rightfully deserve,” said Jim Lippie, senior vice president of partner development, Kaseya. “I’d like to extend a special thank you to itopia + Google Cloud for making Mission: Possible a reality for our attendees. I look forward to this fierce competition.”
itopia will also launch a new program designed to help MSPs transform into cloud service providers at the event, the details of which will be provided at itopia’s Booth #14 in the Partner Pavillion at Kaseya Connect.
itopia’s Cloud Automation Stack (CAS) software allows enterprises and service providers to migrate and orchestrate legacy VDI on GCP, modernizing their IT. This includes: virtual desktops and applications, VFX workstations, hybrid Active Directory (AD) environments, AD-based disaster recovery and Windows and Linux virtual machines—from Sandbox to Production.
