MIAMI, FL – October 30, 2018 – IT and cloud software automation provider itopia announced the availability of two new joint solutions papers with Google Cloud detailing how to deploy and manage RDS and Active Directory environments on GCP.

itopia, the leader in virtual desktop automation and lifecycle management for Google Cloud, has published two joint solutions guides with Google Cloud. The papers provide detailed instructions on how enterprises can deploy and manage Windows Remote Desktops Services (RDS) and Active Directory-based disaster recovery on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with itopia’s IT infrastructure management solution, Cloud Automation Stack (CAS). itopia is a trusted Google Cloud Technology Partner and the software solution is listed on GCP Marketplace.

The first guide is a step-by-step tutorial that details how to use itopia to deploy and manage Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS) on Compute Engine. With itopia CAS, IT administrators can easily integrate their RDS deployments with various Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, such as Compute Engine, Cloud Billing, Cloud Deployment Manager, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud VPN, and BigQuery – all through a single dashboard.

The second solutions guide describes how to create a multisite and extended Active Directory (AD) deployment on GCP through itopia CAS with disaster recovery (DR) capabilities. It includes the system requirements, architecture, and steps to accomplish the deployment. The purpose of the document is to explain how to create multiple Active Directory (AD) sites in different regions on GCP. These AD sites can serve for hosting different geographically located sites. itopia announced this new CAS feature at Google Cloud Next’18 in July.

“These new solutions papers provide everything IT administrators need to get their virtual desktops and infrastructure up and running on Google Cloud,” says Jonathan Lieberman, CEO and Co-Founder, itopia. He adds, “They are now easily accessible on Google Cloud’s website for instant reference.”
